Ventiseri is a delightful village which overlooks the eastern plains of Corsica; it is five minutes away from the sea, ten from the tourist port of Solenzara and thirty five from Porto Vecchio. From here, it is possible to admire the ruins of Covasina Castle, one of the most important strongholds in the Middle Ages, with a fantastic panoramic view over the coastline.
Places of interest to see are the San Michele Chapel in pre-Roman style. A culinary speciality of the area is the famous Corsican bottarga, also known as Corsican caviar.
At Ventiseri, accommodation hospitality is offered in: hotels, residence self-catering accommodation, camp sites, rooms for rent, holiday homes and bed&breakfasts.
